Firmware 3.x: Vulnerability allows authentication bypassing

A bug in the 3.x firmware (WebUI) allows possible attackers to gain any user rights bypassing the authentication. A ticket (EEW-834557) has been opened with Thecus. Users of devices running a 3.x firmware should restrict acess to the WebUI to trusted clients/networks until a fix is made available.

Update: the latest 3.1 beta firmware fixes this issue.
